Heart of Texas Southwest FCA proudly presents a Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K set against the backdrop of the Historic District of Temple, TX. At FCA, excellence is a core value, and we are thrilled to host this event with a commitment to excellence, aiming to create an experience that resonates with participants, ensuring their return year after year and encouraging them to share their experiences with others.
Live results and finish times will be conveniently accessible online during the race, allowing participants to check them on their mobile devices using the race number. Final results will be posted online at the race’s conclusion. Awards will be granted to the top three male and female winners overall, as well as the top male and female winners in each age group. The scoring for the top overall winners will be based on gun time, while all others will be determined by chip time. To avoid duplicate awards, participants must be present at the award ceremony, and there will be designated days/times for award pick-up after the race.
The race courses, whether for the Half Marathon, 10K, or 5K, will feature hydration provisions in the form of plastic 8oz water bottles strategically placed along the route. Gatorade will also be available at specified points. Additionally, both courses and the start/finish line will offer snacks such as apples, oranges, H-E-B granola bars, and various types of chips. For the safety and well-being of participants, a team of medical personnel will be present on-site and stationed throughout the course.
