Overview

Mark your calendar for Saturday, November 1, 2025, at The Barlow in Sebastopol, CA. This flagship event combines the IPA 10K, Hallowine Half Marathon, 3K, and competitive Beer Mile races for a day of running, sipping, and community fun.

Highlights

  • Hallowine Half Marathon starts at 7:30 AM, capped at 700 runners, on a scenic, primarily flat course that navigates vineyards, farms, and the Santa Rosa Creek Trail. Expectations: finishes by 10:30 AM due to cutoff.
  • IPA 10K begins at 8:10 AM in waves; first wave includes elite runners. The looped route runs through Analy High’s neighborhood, vineyards, and the West County Trail, concluding at The Barlow.
  • 3K (including Wagging Tail with dogs) starts at 8:20 AM; strollers and leashed dogs are welcome.
  • Beer Mile & Relay events begin between 11:00–12:45 PM, showcasing solo timed beer-mile heats and 2- and 4-person relays.

Festival Experience + Swag

All participants receive a personalized bib, race shirt, and finisher medal. Discounted Brewfest (beer) and Winefest (wine) tasting tickets are available, including branded tasting glasses. The post-race festival runs from 10 AM–2 PM, with live music, food trucks, costume contests, and local vendor booths.

Why You Should Run

  1. Dual-event excitement – Autumn vineyard run + craft-beer festival all in one day.
  2. Multiple distance choices – From half marathon to lively Beer Mile competitions.
  3. Scenic rural environment – Looping through vineyards and creek paths before ending at The Barlow.
  4. First-rate event design – Chip timing, waves for pacing, festival wristbands, and swag included.
  5. Festival feels – Costumes, live music, dog-friendly runs, and interactive festival games elevate the experience.
Course Description

The half marathon course takes runners further north of Sebastopol on picturesque country roads before entering the south side of the Santa Rosa Creek Trail on Willowside Rd. near mile five for two miles. Runners turn left at Fulton Rd then quickly re-enter the trail on the north side of the creek for another two miles. This scenic trail is flat and mostly paved and leads back to Willowside Rd. and eventually back to The Barlow, using the same roads.

NOTE: This year the race start is located at Analy High School parking lot. If running the half we suggest you park at Analy High School. The race finishes at The Barlow which is only 2/3 of a mile from the start at Analy.
