Jill’s Twelve Hour Run, Marathon, & Half Marathon, in Lynnwood, Washington, takes place on the Lynnwood Golf Course. It has a relatively soft course, covering a 2-mile loop of gravel and dirt double track, with occasional single track and paved sections. The race begins at the Snohomish County District Court South Division parking lot.
Runners have the flexibility to start later than the official 7 AM start time and to run as much or as little as they wish within the 12-hour timeframe. There is an aid station, and runners are encouraged to bring their own food and drink.
For a fee, runners can receive a “wood-al”, or medal made of wood and a special surprise. There is also pizza post-race.
