Overview

Mark your calendar for Sunday, September 7, 2025, when the Lake Saint Louis Parks & Recreation Department hosts the annual Lap the Lake Race Series—presented by Athletico Physical Therapy. This scenic fall event offers three distances: a Half Marathon, 10‑Miler, and 5K, each tracing the lake’s perimeter and showcasing the area’s lush suburban-lake charm.

Runners will experience a loop course that hugs both Lake Saint Louis and its smaller sibling, Lake Saint Louise. Expect rolling terrain with some moderate hills—ideal for runners seeking variety without overexertion. Each participant receives chip-timed bibs, unique race-day medals, and shirts, with added stickers and ample hydration and snacks along the course .

Run-lovers and families appreciate the commitment to community: proceeds underwrite free local events, and awards are handed out to the top three male and female finishers in each distance. The timing cutoff is set at a comfortable 3 hours 15 minutes (10:15 AM) to accommodate recreational paces.

This event marries suburban lakeside beauty with a well-supported race experience—appealing to PR seekers, casual runners, and families eager for a scenic early-fall run. Secure your spot early for guaranteed swag, thoughtful amenities, and a celebration of local health and community spirit.
