Course Description
Our 2026 course is planned to be the same course we’ve raced in 2022-2025, two loops of a 13.1-mile course, running through all the best spots of Burlington, Vermont. You’ll race along the Church Street Marketplace and run along the beautiful Burlington Bike Path with epic views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains!
The M&T Bank Vermont City Marathon is USATF Certified/Sanctioned and is a Boston Marathon Qualifier. The M&T Bank Vermont City Marathon has always been a popular Boston Marathon Qualifier and statistically shown to be one of the fastest marathons in the USA. The course meets the new (2027) Boston Marathon Qualifying Standards for elevation drop. Your finish time requires no adjustment by the Boston Athletic Association.
