The Orting Bunny Hop Half Marathon, 10k, & 5k in Orting, WA is a running event held to celebrate spring. The course is set along the Foothills Trail, a paved path that follows the old railroad lines, offering a flat and fast route.
There are plenty of activities beyond the race, including a costume contest encouraging participants to dress in bunny ears, pastel colors, and other spring-inspired attire and an egg hunt along the course for younger participants. Post-race, participants can enjoy a variety of refreshments, an award ceremony, and community booths showcasing local businesses and organizations.
All proceeds go to the community food bank.
