Overview

The Texas Big Star Half Marathon and 5K, organized by the Frisco Chamber Foundation, stands as North Texas’ premier charity running event. With a mission to support local nonprofit 501c3 charitable organizations, this race has raised nearly $300,000, creating a tradition of giving back to the community. Experience the excitement of a big race atmosphere while contributing to a worthy cause.

Participants in both the half marathon and 5K will receive a finisher medal, a tangible symbol of their accomplishment. The half marathon finishers will be treated to the unveiling of the second medal in a three-series collection, encouraging runners to return next year to complete the set. Meanwhile, the 5K medal features a similar train design, albeit smaller, and is not part of a series.

Adding to the event’s significance, The Warrior Sprint segment pays tribute to the nation’s veterans. This special sprint occurs at the finish line, serving as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by those who have served our country. Join us for a memorable day of running, community spirit, and charitable giving at the Texas Big Star Half Marathon and 5K.
