Prepare for an exhilarating challenge at The Dam Loop on June 1, 2024, hosted at El Dorado State Park. Brace yourself for a 20-mile loop run, where each loop spans approximately 4 miles. To conquer this event, participants will navigate the loop five times within a stringent time limit of 6 hours, ensuring a test of endurance and determination. The starting and finishing point for each loop will be the Amphitheatre, creating a central hub for the runners.
As you embark on this scenic journey, don’t forget to equip yourself with a headlamp, a mandatory requirement for all participants. To maintain the integrity of the race, certain modes of transportation, including bicycles, automobiles, roller skates, rollerblades, skateboards, baby joggers, and animals, are strictly prohibited on the course.
Stay refreshed along the way with strategically placed aid stations offering hydration, but remember, there are no cups provided at these stations. The Dam Loop promises an adventure-filled day where runners can challenge their limits, experience the beauty of El Dorado State Park, and celebrate their achievements. Don’t miss this opportunity for a unique and rewarding running experience.
