Should We Add Training Plans in Kilometers?

Should we convert our half marathon training plans from miles to kilometers?


For years now, we’ve offered half marathon training plans with several different time frames — 10 weeks, 12 weeks, 16 weeks, etc.

But our plans are available only in miles, the distances familiar mostly to runners based in the U.S., which uses the English measurement system.

One of the questions I get often from readers is, can you make your training plans available in kilometers, so they can be used by runners who train outside the U.S.?

If I took some time to convert our training plans to the metric system, so that each of our training plans could be available in kilometers as well as miles, is that something you’d find useful?
