ZOOMA Texas Half Marathon, 10K & 5K

Saturday, March 9, 2019 • Bastrop, TX • Course Map

One of a series of road races throughout the country organized by ZOOMA Women’s Running Series — including races in Atlanta, Colorado Springs, Annapolis and Fontana, Wis. — the ZOOMA Texas Half Marathon takes runners on a tour of the hills of the South Texas countryside, along a course that starts and finishes at the Lost Pines Hyatt Regency Hotel in the small town of Bastrop, just outside Austin.

The race is open to both men and women runners, and is designed to encourage and celebrate women’s fitness with post-race festivities that include mini spa treatments, live music and a post-race party for all participants.

The ZOOMA Texas Half makes its 9th annual running in the spring of 2015, after a 2014 race that saw just over 1,100 runners cross the finish line in all three races combined, including just over 700 finishers in the half marathon.

The race is run in conjunction with the nonprofit organizations CARE and Lifeworks, a local Austin charity that supports families and children in need throughout the Austin metro area with with housing, counseling and adult education and literacy efforts.
