Texas > Bloodgusher Run/Walk Half Marathon, 10K, 5K & 1K
Midland, TX  •  Saturday, March 30, 2013  •  Course Map

Run as a benefit to raise awareness of the need for blood donations in the West Texas area, Midland's Bloodgusher Half Marathon is run in conjunction with a series of races, including a 10K, 5K and a 1K race for runners and walkers.

Participants follow a mostly fast and flat out-and-back course that starts and finishes on the west side of town at the Scharbauer Sports Complex, the home of First American Bank Ballpark, which lies just off Loop 250.

From there, the course runs around the football and baseball fields near the start/finish area, and up to Highway 191 and back. Entry fees are waived for entrants who present vouchers for blood donations made between January and March.
