Utah > South Jordan Half Marathon
South Jordan, UT • Saturday, July 13, 2013 • Course Map
Set for its 4th annual running through the streets of this small city that lies Utah's Salt Lake Valley, between the peaks of the Wasatch Mountains and the Oquirrh Mountains off in the distance, the South Jordan Half Marathon is one of the Salt Lake City's smaller race events, as it saw just over 60 runners cross the finish line for its 3rd annual race in the summer of 2012.
Runners are set to follow an out-and-back course for the race that starts and finishes at the shopping center known as The District, the combination restaurant, retail shopping and movie megaplex that lies a few miles southwest of downtown South Jordan.
From there, runners head out onto a course that a participant from the 2010 race reported has "lots of hills," along the city streets and through the neighborhoods of South Jordan.
