The half marathon distance of Run Crazy Horse in Hill City, South Dakota allows racers 7 hours to complete the race. Participants begin with the Crazy Horse Memorial as a backdrop and complete a point-to-point course that finishes in downtown Hill City. Started in 1947 by sculptor Korczak Ziolkowski, the Crazy Horse Memorial is the inspiration for the race.
