High Five Events, the producer of the Austin Marathon, CapTex Triathlon, and the Kerrville Triathlon Festival announced on Friday that they’ll be rebranding the 3M Half Marathon to the Austin International Half.

The 3M Half Marathon has rebranded as the Austin International Half.
“After 30 years of a great partnership with 3M, we are excited to begin a new chapter for this iconic race,” said Jack Murray, co-owner of High Five Events. “Our commitment to excellence and community aligns perfectly with our vision for the future of this event. We believe this rebranding will enhance the race experience for all participants and further cement its status as a premier event in the running community both locally and globally.”
The 3M Half Marathon has been a staple in the Austin running scene for over 30 years and, with the tagline “Downhill to Downtown” has found a reputation nationwide as a fast PR-friendly race experience with exceptional organization.
As the race transitions to the Austin International Half, race directors ensure runners can expect the same high standards, with additional enhancements brought by the new direction.
