Sophie Lalonde-Bester is a Registered Dietitian and independent freelance writer with a passion for health and fitness. A graduate of McGill University with a BSc in Human Nutrition, she is a dozen-time half-marathoner, one-time marathoner, and one-time Half Ironman finisher. As a dedicated athlete, Sophie brings her personal experience and professional expertise to her writing, contributing to various blogs and publications on topics such as athletic performance, sports nutrition, and women’s health. Currently, Sophie is pursuing a degree in Medicine (MD) at the University of Alberta, further enhancing her ability to provide evidence-based, accessible content.
