Overview

The Bear Brook trail Races, taking place in Bear Brook State Park, Allenstown, New Hampshire, offers a 10K, half marathon, and marathon. The 10K route follows “Mindy’s Loop,” with single tracks, uphills, and blueberry fields. The Half Marathon and Marathon routes traverse the park’s trails. Marathon participants will complete the Half Marathon course twice.

There are aid stations along the routes, with food items, water, and Tailwind for hydration. This is a “no cup” race, meaning the organizers won’t provide cups at aid stations. Pets, crews and pacers are not permitted during the race.

Course Description

We will once again offer three outstanding races – a 10k following “Mindy’s Loop” – and of course, the Half Marathon and Marathon routes. We will be continuing with the courses we began using in 2022 – Marathon runners will be running the Half Marathon course twice. Maps will be available the day of the race and will be posted prior to our Facebook page.
All races will have well stocked aid stations with a variety of different food items, water and Tailwind (powder for you to mix with water).
Please note that this is a NO CUP race – we do not supply cups at the aid stations. None. You will need to supply your own water bottles/soft flasks, etc to re-fill along the course. We will not have anything for you to put water in at the aid stations. This is to keep all littering in the park to an absolute minimum and ensure that we can continue to work with the State in obtaining this permit.
New in 2024 – The Bear Brook Trail Races will be a GPX only event. There will be minimal to no course markings. Entrants will be required to download the course GPX and utilize that to navigate their way along the course. The GPX will be made available in advance of the Event and will be sent to all entrants. Please contact us directly if you have any questions. Thank you!
