The Beer City Half, 10K, and 5K in San Jose, CA combines two of life’s pleasures—beer and exercise—there’s even a unicorn-themed fun run/walk for all ages!
Finishers become part of the Beer City community and receive a San Jose t-shirt, a medal, tasting glass, bib, and race photos.
The top three finishers in each race by gender and age will receive podium trophies.
Beer City offers participants over 21 years of age a delightful selection of beverages, including beer, kombucha, and hard tea from local San Jose brewers such as S27 and Strike.
There’s also non-alcoholic Hop Water, and your tasting experience is included with your registration.
For guests who wish to partake in the beer tasting without the race, Tasting Only tickets are available. These tickets grant you access to all the beer and other refreshing beverages, and you’ll receive a wristband at registration to ensure you enjoy every sip.

You’ll have the chance to explore a wide selection of brews, all courtesy of the fantastic San Jose-area brewers. For those who are simply here for the beer, we offer special tasting tickets. It’s an opportunity to savor your favorite brews or discover new ones.
