The Black Mountain Turkey Burner Half Marathon, 10K, & 5K is a post-Thanksgiving race that will knock the stuffing out of you!
This race is the most technical trail event of the Endurance Race Series’ Sunshine Series.
All distances start and finish at San Diego’s Black Mountain Ranch Community Park. The half marathon is run on 100% dirt trail and features a whopping 2,000-feet of elevation gain.
While organizers welcome all runners, from novices to veterans, be aware that portions of the half marathon course are technical, rocky, and steep. If you have trail shoes, they’re highly recommended.
There will be 5 aid stations throughout the half marathon course offering water, energy drinks, and gels.
