Overview
Set for its 7th annual running, the Chilly Willy running festival includes a certified half marathon, 10k, and 5k, perfect for ringing in the New Year.
The half marathon is “New England flat,” which means that racers should be prepared to conquer a few hills. The 5k and 10k courses are both flat and fast.
Course Description
As for course support, along the half marathon course, runners will have seven water stops and a porta-potty available at Mile 5. Due to COVID-19, not all water stops on the course will be manned, but there will be water with cups filled for runners to take.
The race begins at the Seekonk YMCA, where parking is also available. 2023 participants should note that the YMCA will not be open on race day, so there will be no use of the locker rooms—a change from previous years.
