Overview

Draper City presents the Corner Canyon Half Marathon, 10K & 5K, starting and finishing at Ballard Arena. All races run through the stunning Corner Canyon trails, with exclusive trail closures arranged to create a boutique trail experience in this natural enclave.

Launched in recent years, this event brings trail-access rarity: fully closed dirt paths passing Ghost Falls, the Bear Canyon Suspension Bridge, and colorful fall foliage against the Utah valley backdrop. The courses are 95% unpaved single- and double-track with moderate hills and scenic exposure.

Runners begin at 7:00 AM MDT, with a 4‑hour cutoff enforced for all distances. Aid stations with water, sports drink, and snacks dot the half marathon route. Children’s divisions invite younger participants to enjoy the trail too.

What makes it unique? This community-produced trail sign-up offers a premium trail run without big‑race crowds (~100–500 participants per distance), affordable fees, and quality logistics. Participants receive a long-sleeve tech shirt (if registered by August 21), finisher medal, drawstring bag, digital race photos, and awards for overall and age-group winners.

The Corner Canyon Trail Race Series brings rare trail access and curated experiences to Draper: technical terrain, scenic beauty, and small-field charm wrapped into one accessible September date. With all details confirmed straight from Draper City, it’s a perfect pick for fall trail lovers seeking quality over quantity.
