Overview

The Falls2Falls Half Marathon in Twin Falls, ID, returns on Saturday, September 27, 2025, joined by 5K, 5.2-mile, and Kids Mile races. This fall event, delayed due to Shoshone Grade roadwork, now traverses lush, canyon-framed roads before finishing at scenic Dierkes Lake.

Runners start at River Christian Fellowship at 9:00 AM MDT, bused to Twin Falls before heading out on an out-and-back through the Wild Rose neighborhood, down Shoshone Falls grade, and out toward the waterfall, turning back to finish lakeside. The mostly paved route includes a couple of notable climbs and celebratory downhill stretches—ideal for those who enjoy rolling terrain framed by canyon and waterfall vistas .

Aid stations spaced roughly every two miles offer water and snacks, and restrooms are available at start and along the course. All finishers receive medals; t-shirts and goody bags are guaranteed for early registrants (first 500 packets). With a field capped at 500 participants, the race strikes a balance between community spirit and crowd energy. All proceeds benefit Magic Valley community initiatives like local trail improvements.

A participant review sums it up:

“Great course with lots to see. Two nice downhill parts … but you need to climb back up, so be ready for these climbs. Well worth it.”
