The Half Marathon course is USATF certified (certification number: IL20017NM), ensuring a professionally measured and marked route for a truly memorable race. For those seeking a marathon challenge, the Springfield Marathon on November 11th awaits, and participants can conveniently register for both events with the FALL MARATHON Bundle, enjoying a 10% discount.
Your race experience extends beyond the finish line with special perks. In addition to the standard race swag—medals, t-shirts, and giveaways—participants receive a drink ticket (redeemable for soda, beer, or wine) and access to the afternoon music show at DFV.
Gear up for the event with packet pickup on Saturday, October 7th, from 11 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at SCHEELS (3801 S. MacArthur Blvd., Springfield, IL 62711). Please note that there will be no race day packet pickup. For added convenience, choose to have your packet mailed to you for a fee of $15.
On race day, October 8th, the starting gun fires at 8 a.m. for both the Half Marathon and 10K. Awards can be collected at the awards tent starting at 9:30 a.m. for the 10K and 10:30 a.m. for the Half Marathon.
