The Haunted Halloween Half Marathon & 5km will take place on Sunday, October 22nd in the heart of Chicago’s Lincoln Park. Participants can choose the 5k or half marathon, and both races are along Chicago’s Lakefront Trail. The event is open to runners and walkers of all ages and abilities, with awards for people in each age category. The Haunted Halloween Half Marathon & 5km has a maximum of 500 participants. Costumes are encouraged as there is a pre-race costume contest at 7:15 am–first, second, and third place costumes win $100 each! The races start at 8 am. Everyone who finishes a race gets a H^3 skull medal to take home. All participants of the Haunted Halloween Half Marathon & 5km get autumn treats, including candy.
