HFM Maritime Marathon & Half Marathon

This out-and-back course takes off from the University of Wisconsin-Manitowoc campus. Runners will follow roads and paved trails that hug the shore of Lake Michigan. Aid stations offering water and Gatorade are plentiful, with 16 stations offered less than two miles apart on the course.

With lakeshore views abounding throughout the whole course, the full marathon also crosses both the Manitowoc and West Twin Rivers, continuing until the turnaround point at Point Beach in the city of Two Rivers. Half marathoners make a U-turn approximately a quarter mile north of Aurora Medical Center to continue back to the start/finish line.

Runners will celebrate their accomplishments after the race at the lakeshore with brats, burgers, beer, and ice cream.
