Welcome to the 2nd Annual Jersey City Marathon & Half Marathon, home of 2 Olympic trials qualifying times, hundreds of Boston Marathon qualifying times, and even 2 proposals at our finishline. We are beyond excited to bring this event back to the streets of JC and make it even better than ever! Join us and this rich community for 13.1 or 26.2 miles of flat, fast, and smooth JC love!
A smooth, flat, fast, double loop course through the neighborhoods of Jersey City. It is bound to be your PR and dare we say a Boston Qualifier?! Race a Half Marathon or the Full Marathon distance Staged and Starting in the Newport Section then traveling along the Waterfront, Paulus Hook, down near Liberty State Park, down Caven Point road to the Greenville and then Bergen Communities, up through Communipaw where the Half Marathon will come to finish in Newport Green area and the full Marathoners will loop around again to do the similar course but in reverse. See all the neighborhoods that make up the Golden Door City. Hydration stations will be located approximately every 2 miles on the course. There will be water at every hydration station and electrolyte at every other hydration station. When applicable there will be water first followed by electrolyte. There will also be an medical aide station and restrooms location at every Hydration station.
