The Kismet Cliff Run takes place every September amidst the rugged beauty of New Hampshire’s White Mountains. Choose either the Beast of the East Half-Marathon or Little Beast 5 Miler.

The Little Beast 5 Miler takes runners through the trails of Cathedral and Whitehorse Ledges. The course features twisting double tracks and steep single tracks. There are demanding ascents and descents surrounded by miles of Conway granite. The run has great views of Echo Lake State Park and the White Mountains. There is one aid station available. The Beast of the East Half-Marathon combines the Little Beast Course with a loop over North Moat Mountain. The ascent to the 2,000-foot climb offers views of the Presidential Range, the Pemi Wilderness, and beyond. There are two aid stations and one water station. This course has over 4,300 feet of vertical gain and is known as the “toughest half marathon”. Proceeds go to Kismet Rock Foundation, a local nonprofit dedicated to benefiting disadvantaged kids through a comprehensive program of rock climbing instruction.
