Presented by Altra, the Napa Valley Women’s Half Marathon and 5k is a USATF certified, annual road racing event hosted as “the ultimate women’s weekend”.

Road Runners. The Napa Valley Women’s Half Marathon takes runners through the sights and scenes of beautiful Napa, California, and particularly, the Napa Wine Country, passing several vineyards and wineries along the course route.

Though not known particularly for its PR capabilities, the course itself is relatively flat and fast, with just a few small rolling hills throughout. Once the race is finished, runners can enjoy a wine-centric lifestyle for the duration of their stay, with direct access to the Bay Area.

Starting and finishing in Oxbow Commons Park in Napa, California, the Napa Valley Women’s Half Marathon course kicks runners off on 1268 Mckinstry Street, looping toward 1st Street. Onward, it’s a right onto Terrace Drive before reaching Shurtleff Avenue. From there, it’s Imola Avenue and 4th Avenue in pursuit of Hagen Road via 3rd Avenue. At this point of the race, runners will have traversed more than 8 miles, turning around onto First Avenue. Onto Coombsville Road to finish, runners persist toward the finish line where the race initially began. Runners can expect aid stations posted every 1.5 miles throughout the entirety of the half marathon. The course limit for the half marathon is four (4) hours.
