Tired of running in the summer heat? Take a break from the heat and run in the Narragansett Summer Running Festival, which provides a half marathon and 10K in the cooler temperatures of southeastern Massachusetts.
Beginning and finishing at Easton’s Stonehill College, which has consistently ranked in the Princeton Review and U.S. News and World Report among the best liberal arts college and most beautiful campuses, the half marathon course takes runners through the Stonehill campus for the first mile before continuing northwest into rural Massachusetts. Much of the course is run on tree-lined streets, providing shade from the heat and lovely views as the morning continues on, while also providing lake views of Ames Long Pond for several miles of the course. The course finishes back at Stonehill College, where a beer garden, food, and live music await for a post-race party.
Half Marathon Guide is the largest calendar and educational resource in the world for half marathon runners and enthusiasts with over 10,000,000 annual visitors.
