Overview

Experience the true essence of autumn in Asheville, North Carolina, as you indulge in a delightful celebration of craft beer and running at the Oktoberfest Half Marathon & 5k.

After a catastrophic 2024 race day that saw 30 feet of water cover the majority of our race course, we’re rebounding in 2025. Come be a part of it! From underwater to unstoppable—Asheville has spent the past year rebuilding, redesigning, and reimagining. The historic flooding that derailed our event last year has only strengthened our resolve and our community.

This year’s course may look a different and you will still see the scars left by Helene. Our host brewery is open and ready and so is our race direction team. The question is “are you ready?”. Join us as we transform last year’s setback into this year’s triumph. Every step you take on our course represents the indomitable spirit of our racing family. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this historic return. Register today and help us write the next chapter in our race’s storied history and commemorate Helene by showing your strength!

Join us on September 27, 2025, for an unforgettable experience at the Oktoberfest Half Marathon & 5k, and savor the perfect blend of autumn magic, craft beer, and the thrill of running. Register now and secure your spot in this must-attend event, proudly brought to you by Kick It Event Management!
