Southwestern Florida is beautiful all year long, and the city of Naples, which plays host to the Paradise Coast Half Marathon, is no exception. Late March in Naples provides the near-perfect weather for a race such as the Paradise Coast Half Marathon, which also includes a 5K race for those not ready for the half marathon.
Starting and finishing at the North Collier Regional Park, the race takes runners through the park and the roads outside of the park, showing off beautiful scenery, large houses, and a local park. The race organizers note that the course is almost entirely flat, as you would expect for southwestern Florida. With the number of celebrities and public figures who call Naples home at least part of the time, who knows: you might spot a celebrity or two on the course.
Runners will have 3.5 hours to complete the half marathon course, and prizes are awarded five deep in 5-year age brackets.
