Break dawn over Tibble Fork Reservoir and descend through the stunning American Fork Canyon at the Runtastic TIMP Half Marathon—a scenic, USATF-certified net‑downhill course that begins at over 6,400 ft and finishes at Art Dye Park, American Fork. This event is part of Runtastic Events’ Utah series and supports local cancer‑fight charities, blending purpose with performance.
Course Experience
Starting at 6:00 AM MDT, runners glide through the dramatic first half along canyon walls and the tranquil American Fork River. Miles 8–10 shift through Highland and Cedar Hills on multi-use trails, then the final miles follow the Murdock Canal Trail into Art Dye Park for a fast finish. At over 1,690 ft of net descent, it’s ideal for PB-seekers. Aid stations are spaced every 2 miles offering water, Powerade, GU, and first-aid support.
What Sets It Apart
Beyond the speed-friendly layout, TIMP honors cancer warriors with a pre-dawn Light the Night tribute, Memory Mile signage, and bib tributes. Proceeds benefit 5 For The Fight and the Harrington Center for the Arts, connecting community, towers of nature, and meaningful cause.
