The Savannah River Marathon Half Marathon & 10k takes place in the vibrant city of Augusta, GA, and offers a trio of challenges: the full marathon kicking off at 7:30 a.m., the half marathon at 8:00 a.m., and the 10K at 8:30 a.m. All three races will start and finish at the picturesque Lake Olmstead entrance to the canal trail.

Overview
Course Description
Runners will cover diverse terrain while sharing the trails and sidewalks with walkers and cyclists. The full marathon meanders along the River Levy Trail, North Augusta Greeneway, and Canal Trail, while the half marathon and 10K offer out-and-back courses along the scenic Canal and River Levy trails. This year’s event is stripped down to essentials. Packets can be picked up at the Savannah River Brewing Company prior to the race. Chip timing will be provided. Water stations will be positioned every 2-3 miles, but runners are advised to carry their own snacks and drinks. Awards await the top two finishers in each category and age brackets from ages 29 and under to ages 70 and above.
