Course Description
The Half Marathon course, spanning 13.1 miles through the picturesque landscapes of Hanover, Pennsylvania, offers a winding loop starting at the Hanover Y. Runners will traverse beautiful farmland, enjoy scenic views in Hershey Heights, and conquer one significant hill, with a total elevation gain of approximately 550 feet. The course takes a delightful turn into the industrial park, leading to Hanover’s newly renovated rail trail. The final stretch is a flat, fast loop through tree-lined streets, culminating back at the YMCA.
For the 5K enthusiasts, the 3.1-mile course unfolds as a paved loop, characterized by its flat and fast terrain. Runners will weave through tree-lined streets and pass the Hanover High School campus.
Don’t miss out on the family-friendly Kids Fun Run, set to take place on the YMCA property, with the Kids Fun Run Pre-Stretch beginning at 8:15 AM. Join us at the North Hanover Area YMCA, 500 George St., Hanover, PA, for an unforgettable race day experience.
