The South Park Half Marathon, in South Park Township, Pennsylvania, takes place in one of Western Pennsylvania’s best known running locations and offers a 13.1-mile course. Starting from the fairgrounds, this paved road course is composed of two loops. There are portable restrooms near the start/finish area and along the course. Aid stations, featuring sports drinks, water, fruit snacks, granola bars, and first aid kits, are located at miles 1.2, 3, 6, 6.5, 9, and 11.9.
Event swag includes a finisher medal, a polyester long sleeve performance shirt, a custom race bib, and campfire mug age group awards. There are prizes for the Top 3 Overall Male and Female Open & Masters Finishers, along with the top 3 in various age groups. Award recognition is based on gun time.
