The half marathon course starts in Markham Park at a bright an early time of 6:30 a.m sharp. Kicking runners off along Markham Park Road, turning right in pursuit of the Markham Airfield for mile 1.
Onward, runners proceed for a quick out and back within the Markham Park Disc Golf Course, turning around and heading through the Markham Park Parking Lot. It’s then through Camp Chameleon and back on Markham Park Road for Lap 1.
Back runners go on an alternate lap with a few different turns throughout. Ultimately, runners finish the race at the Duchy of Pembroke in Markham Park.
This course, though welcoming for all fitness levels and abilities, does have a course time limit of 3.5 hours. Fully stocked aid stations can be expected every two (2) miles throughout the entirety of the course. Tech shirts and finisher’s medal are given to all.
