Thanksgiving food is wonderful left over, and so is race swag! The Leftovers Run Half Marathon & 4.1M, hosted by The RUNegades, is an opportunity to clear out leftover race swag from the past year.
All registrants will receive a race t-shirt, buff, or jacket from a past RUNegades event, as well as a race medal of your choice at the finish line.
In addition to clearing out leftovers, the race helps supply food for those in need. Organizers partner with The Daily Bread Community Food Pantry to fundraise for their mission. All donations and a portion of race fees will go to The Daily Bread.
Both trail races begin and end in Lower Perkiomen Valley Park. The half marathon course follows the Schuylkill River Trail toward Phoenixville for the first six miles before looping back. Half marathoners then tackle the Audubon Loop, which 4.1 Milers run as the course for their race.
Along the course, which features a modest 423 total elevation gain for the half, there will be 5 contactless, self-serve water stations offering refreshment.
The field for both races is limited, write organizers, so early registration is encouraged!

Both strollers and dogs are welcome on the trail for the race, at runners’ discretion. Organizers ask that dogs be well-behaved and socialized to group runs.
Weather in Oaks becomes colder in November. Expect cold temperatures and cloudy conditions, with the possibility of rain (or even some snow!). Average temperatures range from 48°F to 33°F.
