Course Details-The 5K is trail with ‘some’ technical terrain. The first mile (approx) is a gradual downhill. The remainder of the course is a gradual uphill. Overall, the 5K course includes nearly 700 feet of ascent.
The 10K is trail with technical terrain throughout. The course is a gradual downhill for the first three miles (approx) with a few switchbacks during the descent. The remainder of the course is a gradual uphill to the finish line. Overall, the 10K course includes 1,000 feet of ascent.
The half marathon is trail with technical terrain throughout. The first 3 miles (approx) are a gradual downhill. Miles 3.4 through 8.7 are a gradual uphill. Miles 8.7 through 10.2 are a gradual downhill. The remainder of the course is a gradual uphill. Overall, the half marathon course includes 2,100 feet of ascent.
*NOTE-The half marathon is a STOUT challenge. We would NOT recommend the half marathon if you’ve never covered this distance before and/or you are not doing any kind of trail running currently.
