Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 14, 2025, when the 5th Annual TRANSCEND Trail Fest unfolds at Dickerson Mine Preserve in Randolph. With 5K, 10K, and a half-marathon—each traversing fast, flowy single-track trails with lakeside backdrops—this race now also serves as a qualifier for the 2026 XTERRA Trail Run World Championships in Wales.
Course & Experience
- 5K: 3.1 miles, 170 ft of climb—great for beginners and trail explorers.
- 10K: 6.8 miles with 400 ft elevation gain—single loop.
- Half Marathon: Two full loops of the 10K course.
Start times are staggered in the morning; day-of registration is available from at least one hour prior. Expect well-marked trails plus optional RideWithGPS audio cues to help you stay on track.
Support & Atmosphere
This is a community-first event with minimal frills. Aid stations are modest, and participants should carry their own hydration and fuel (200 calories recommended). After the race, enjoy brunch and a 10% discount at Black River Barn, located at the lakefront finish line. Finishers receive a unique XTERRA Transcend mug, while age-group winners earn medals.
What Makes It Unique
