The third in a series of five women’s-themed half marathon events that draws thousands of runners out to run the streets of cities like Austin, Annapolis, Colorado Springs and Atlanta each year, the ZOOMA Cape Cod Half Marathon & 10K makes its 112h annual running along an out-and-back course during the off-peak season, when the crowds are largely gone.

Course Description
Runners will start and finish the out-and-back course for the race at the newly renovated Sea Crest Beach Hotel, which lies just a stone’s throw from both the waves rolling in along the beaches here as well as the quaint, cottage-lined streets of the nearby villages of West Falmouth, North Falmouth, Woods Hole and Falmouth itself, whose history dates all the way back to the late 1600s and which today serves as one of the main ferry departure points to Martha’s Vineyard.
The race is limited to 1,000 runners, and in addition to the 13.1-mile half marathon, organizers also are offering a 10K as well as a one-kilometer fun run for kids, which will run about 15 minutes after the half marathoners and 10K runners leave the starting line.
