Cash prizes are awarded to the top 3 male and female finishers and bonus cash can be earned by those breaking the course record.

3) New Year’s Resolution Race • Flint, MI

Get started on your resolution a bit early by participating in the 8K New Year’s Resolution Race on December 31st. Starting at 2:00 p.m., runners will still have plenty of time to get ready for their evening parties.

This hometown race takes runners through the residential streets of Pierce Park and East Village. $25 before December 24th pays for a hooded sweatshirt and the entry fee and it’s only $10 for those who opt out of the sweatshirt.

4) New Year’s Double Marathon & Half Marathon • Allen, TX

The same courses are offered on both New Year’s Eve and New Year’s day and runners have the option of choosing a 5K, half marathon, and a full marathon. Runners who opt to participate on both day will receive two different medals and an extra plate to attach both pieces of hardware.

The half marathon consists of two out-and-backs of a 6.55 mile jaunt that starts and finishes in Celebration Park. It’s a sellout race every year!

5) I Ran Marathons New Year’s Day • San Antonio, TX

Featuring 13 days of races, runners have the option of choosing a 5K, 10K, half marathon, or full marathon for 13 consecutive days. There is a 50K option on two of the days.
