Ali Nolan is the author of “Master the Marathon: The Ultimate Training Guide for Women” which offers a holistic approach to training for long distances. She is a 4-time marathoner and, a dozen-time half marathoner who is passionate about fitness and movement at all speeds and in every form. In addition to running, she loves hiking with her humungous dog, practicing yoga, spending hours on the tennis court, and recovering on the couch with her cats. She formerly worked at Runner’s World and you can find her byline there and at Active, Bicycling, Self, Well and Good, and Women’s Health.
Ali’s been running for more than 20 years. She coached track and cross country for students in elementary school up to high school.
