Saturday, December 7, 2024 • Panama City Beach, FL • Course Map
There are few better places to run a December race than in the South, where the temperatures rarely drop below freezing. The Panama City Beach Marathon, Half Marathon & 5K embraces this spirit while providing a fun and entertaining race experience after the end of tourist season.
The half marathon features an out-and-back course starting just yards from Margaritaville on Pier Park Drive. From there, runners continue running east along Front Beach Road for the majority of the course, turning onto Thomas Drive just before completing the sixth mile. The course turns around at mile 6.5 and retraces its route back to the finish line at Margaritaville, where a post-race party awaits all runners.
Runners can see the ocean during the majority of this flat course, providing the views and the means for a personal record. And for full marathon runners, the event is a Boston qualifier.
