Starting and finishing at the Seaboard Triumph Foods Expo Center, the Mighty Mo Half Marathon is a fast, flat, and fun course that will take runners on a scenic tour of Sioux City. The course starts at the Seaboard Triumph Foods Expo Center, then takes runners past Chris Larson Park and Scenic Park before continuing down the Missouri River, alongside Floyd’s Monument, and returning back to the expo center.
Not only will you be running one of the most beautiful routes in Sioux City, but you’ll also be supporting a great cause. Proceeds from the Mighty Mo Races go towards the H.A.R.T. Foundation, which stands for Helping Athletes Run & Train. So, not only will you be doing something great for your own health, but you’ll also be helping others achieve their fitness goals.
And, if you’re looking for some extra motivation, the Mighty Mo Half Marathon is officially a Boston qualifier. The course is USATF-certified, so if you meet the criteria for your age group, you’ll be eligible to sign up for the Boston Marathon.
The Mighty Mo Health and Wellness Expo is worth mentioning, too. Held the Saturday before the race, the expo, located in the Seaboard Triumph Foods Expo Center is the packet pickup spot for the race. You’ll have the chance to interact with some of the best health and wellness companies in the area and pick up all kinds of new swag to fuel your next running journey.
