Overview
The Armed Services Marathon, Half Marathon & 5K, set in Grand Haven, Michigan, is a distinguished event that pays tribute to the military and first responders. Held at Grand Haven High School, this race is not only a competitive sporting event but also a commemoration of the services and sacrifices of the armed forces and emergency services personnel. With each branch of the military presenting booths and exhibits, and the inclusion of a Joint Services Honor Guard and The National Anthem performance, the event creates a patriotic atmosphere that honors the spirit of service.
Course Description
All courses will start and finish on the track inside the football stadium. The half and full marathon are the same course. The half is an “out and back” course and the full marathon is out and back twice. The benefits of this are spectators will be able to see and cheer for you more frequently and their will be aid stations at every mile of the course(s). The 5K course has 1 aid station serving both directions.
