Hosted by Midwest Multisport Races, the Bald Eagle Half Marathon is a crisp, autumn road race held annually in early November—on November 1, 2025 this year. As a new addition to the fall calendar, this event invites runners to enjoy “one more half before the snow flies,” via gently rolling roads and scenic lakeside routes.
The USATF-certified course opens at 8:00 AM from Bald Eagle Regional Park and wraps in a 4-hour cutoff. Runners loop around the placid Bald Eagle Lake on quiet residential roads, then head north into rural countryside for ~2–3 miles before returning to the lakeshore and finish line at the park. Aid stations are stationed every 1.5 miles (with electrolytes and gels), and porta-potties are available at three key points along the route.
Following the finish, a pancake-and-sausage breakfast awaits participants—weather permitting—offering a warm community touch and post-race camaraderie. With crisp air, vibrant fall foliage, and a welcoming small-field vibe, this half marathon is perfect for a seasonally scenic late-season run.
