Overview
This 3rd annual Bay to Beacon Race will take place on Saturday, August 17, 2024 along the majestic shore of Lake Huron and will feature a half marathon, 10k, and 5k race event in Alcona County between Sturgeon Point Lighthouse and Negwegon State Park.
The half marathon route will begin at 7:30am at Negwegon State Park and finish at Sturgeon Point Lighthouse.
The 10k and 5k will begin and end at 8:30am at Sturgeon Point Lighthouse.
Due to the route’s proximity to Lake Huron, the route is fairly flat. The race is primarily on paved road, with the exception of the half marathon, which will include 2.5-3 miles on a seasonal gravel road.
