Join us for the 8th Annual Boys Home Harvest Hustle, featuring 5K, 10K, and half-marathon races hosted by Boys Home of Virginia! This beloved event continues to grow each year, and we’re thrilled to make 2024 our best year yet.
The races kick off and conclude at the Intervale Trailhead of the Jackson River Scenic Trail in Covington, VA. Offering a smooth crushed gravel surface, the USATF-certified course boasts mostly flat terrain with gentle inclines. Runners and walkers alike will delight in the scenic route, which follows the historic Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad bed along the picturesque Jackson River through the Alleghany Highlands. Please note that aid stations will close at noon, so be sure to plan your pace accordingly.
For added convenience, we offer drive-thru packet pick-up on Friday, November 1st, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Boys Home of Virginia. On-site packet pick-up will also be available on race day, starting at 8:30 a.m., with separate tables for each race category and on-the-day registrations.
