Held in celebration of the Texas State Parks centennial, the Brazos Bend 100 is a running festival offering a 100k, 100 Miler, 26.2 Marathon, and 13.1 Half Marathon. This full weekend of racing happens in Brazos Bend State Park in Needville, TX. The race is an official Western States Endurance Run qualifier. A sub-30 hour finish gets racers a lottery ticket for the following year’s Western States 100.
Known as the fastest trail in the nation, the Brazos Bend 100 Miler is a flat course with four aid stations stocked with food and drinks. The course is on hard crushed rock, soft hiking trails, and smooth horse trails under the tree canopy.
Finishers get buckles (100 mi and 100k) and medals (marathon and half marathons). There will be food trucks at the finish line.
