Overview

Early registration for the 50th running of the SARR Mission Half Marathon/5K/10K is now open exclusively for 2023 participants. San Antonio RoadRunners (SARR) members and individuals eligible for age-based discounts can take advantage of reduced rates starting September 16, 2023. Additionally, 2023 participants should check their email for exclusive discounts for the 2024 SARR Mission Run.

The event, scheduled for Sunday, April 21st, marks the 50th anniversary of the SARR Mission Run, featuring a half marathon, 5K, and 10K races. The Mission 10K holds the distinction of being Texas’ oldest 10K race. Race route details will be announced soon.

Participants can expect a vibrant in-person race day experience at Mission County Park, located at 6030 Padre Dr, San Antonio, TX 78214. The event kicks off with the Kids 1K at 7:15 AM, followed by the Half Marathon at 7:30 AM, the 10K at 8:00 AM, and the 5K at 8:15 AM.

All participants in the 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon will receive official entry to the SARR Mission Run, a timed run with overall and age-group awards, a tech race tee available in men’s, women’s, and youth sizing, the Mission Run 2024 Fiesta Medal, and access to post-race party festivities.

Kids participating in the Mission 1K Kids Run will receive official entry to the SARR Mission Run, the opportunity to run a fun 1K race before other events begin, a tech race tee in youth sizing, a Kids Run finisher medal, and access to post-race party fun.
