Overview

1st Annual Whiskey Run Miami, hosted by Scenic City Multisport, debuts on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at the iconic Miami Beach Bandshell. Offering a half marathon, 10K, and 5K all starting within fifteen minutes of each other, this beachside event marries fitness and festivity by the Atlantic.

The course features two 10K out-and-back loops for the half, running along Atlantic Way and the scenic Miami Beach Boardwalk. With roughly 196 m (643 ft) of elevation gain, it’s not flat—but it’s not mountainous either—so expect a rolling coastal profile paired with ocean breezes.

Aid stations are placed at 5K and 10K turnaround points, stocked with water, Gatorade, GU, and bananas upon finish. Race enthusiasts praise Scenic City’s attention to detail: chip timing, bib engraving, medals, and wellness amenities raise the bar. Post-race, runners enjoy whiskey tastings, local food, and live music—finishing whiskey run-defined: “Run thy race; drink thy whiskey.”

What distinguishes this event is the iconic oceanfront setting combined with a spirited whiskey festival—a celebration of effort with classy flair. While not a Boston-qualifying course, it’s ideal for training meets, milestone runs, and springtime fun. Expect a diverse field with walkers welcome within the 3.5-hour cutoff.

Why It’s Worth a Run
Coastal charm: Two laps by the ocean—spectacular views, refreshing breezes.

Post‑race celebration: Complimentary whiskey sampling, live music, food.

Smooth logistics: Chip timing, boardwalk ease, bag drop, and on-site aid.

Laid-back vibe: Walkers welcome; 3.5-hour cutoff gives flexibility.

Destination-worthy: Perfect kickoff to a Miami weekend.
